With the Adventurer Camp Cot, we set out to make a super-strong cot that would feel as good as your bed at home and be easy to set up. So the strength is in the steel X-leg design. It has a 400 lb (181 kg) weight capacity. But there’s more:
It’s also incredibly easy to set up. The last corner pulls the canvas tight and that troublesome fourth corner is so much easier to get in place with our patented pivot arm. It’s a built-in lever that makes putting the tightest end bar into place quick and easy. Now you get the support you need, but the pivot arm does all the work for you so the fourth corner is as easy as the first.

I’m 5’ 9” and about 245. I used this cot for a week straight while on a camping trip. I found that when my feet hung off the end the rail hurt my feet. Naturally I would scoot up. This put my hips right where the middle legs brackets land. This in turn gave me bruises on both hips due to trying to move away from one side to another. If I order again I’ll most definitely get a wider version to stop this. We do this trip every year and in the past I’ve had issues (on other brands) with the middle leg brackets failing where I sit up in the mornings. This cot did not have any issues with that so I’d say it’s pretty solid. I do use some boards to help with this issue. Overall it’s a solid cot but for a bigger person you will need a wider version.

Bought two of these (one Adventurer, one universal) to upgrade from an air mattress for this years outings and let me tell you -- what a game changer -- not once did we wake up with our backs hurting, or feeling "sticky/stuck to it" due to the heat. It truly elevated our camping game to "glamping" and I'm glad I made the investment! The assembly/breakdown is super quick (I wish my tent was that easy) and the carrying bags are a life saver. When I had questions and concerns the customer support team was quick to answer everything and make sure I was entirely satisfied with the purchase. If you're like me -- a person who camps vs hotels to save money. You won't regret "splurging". All in all between the cots and the pads I paid roughly what two nights at a hotel in the area we go beaching would be and the fact that these have a lifetime warranty, were easily setup, comfy, and have a lifetime warranty makes the investment worth every penny. We spent 7 nights on them so far and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

We just received our cots last week. The ease of putting them together was seriously a matter of seconds. That blew me away! My husband said laying on one seemed to realign his back. That’s saying something. Stoked about this product and would buy more if your products. Price, quality and comfort is really hard to come by. Two thumbs way, way up!!

I am a big guy and use the Outfitter XXL/Vista with sleeping pad and extended rainfly as a mainstay. Recently, to save the high cost of hotels during fishing adventures, I recently started camping in my Suburban. The Outfitter XXL fit, but used up most of the room in the back. Taking advantage of the last sale, I purchased the Adventurer Regular with matching sleep pad and although smaller, I still get the same great comfort, equal weight rating and now have plenty of room in the Suburban to move around. Coupled with my Celsius bags, I feel like I'm sleeping at home, no matter where I go!
